Also, it would make this Boricua very happy if you would come play L.A. sometime, especially at the Sportsmen Lodge in Studio City. Comment: Saludos hermanos, solo queria darles las gracias por darme la oportunidad de formar parte de Orquesta La Romana por los ultimos 5 meses. Gracias por creer en mi. Todos y cada uno de ustedes fueron una escuela para mi. Aprendi algo diferente de cada uno. A mis hermanos Peruanos quiero que sepan que los voy a extrañar. De verdad que pase una experiencia inolvidable con ustedes. A mi pana Edwin. Gracias por la oportunidad, consejos y amistad. Gracias por invitarme a tu casa el dia de los padres y preocuparte por mi. Definitivamente, Orquesta La Romana es la escuela de muchas bandas de DC. La Romana sigue siendo la orquesta numero uno sin importar los años que pasen. Esto no solo lo digo yo. Lo dicen personas que se me acercaron mientras estuve aqui y asi mismo me lo dijeron y cito: "Ustedes son los mejores de todas la bandas que hay aqui". Esto es algo que quedo provado en el festival de la salsa de este año. Me hubiera gustado quedarme aqui y seguir formando parte de la historia de La Romana. Pero ya ustedes saben mi situacion. 15, 2007 Comment: Estimados colegas, miro el internet y veo desde esta parte del mundo en el Sur de la Florida a muchos que conoci por un tiemp en mi carrera de musico en DC. Aunque alomejor ustedes no se acuerden de mi y del grupo por el cual fue el lead vocalista por casi 17 anos. Les hablo de la orquesta mas vieja de salsa de Washington, DC, Maria Rodriguez y sus Magnificos. Mi nombre es Eddie Flores. Cuando ustedes llegaron a DC ya yo estaba casi de retirada del negocio por eso no pueden acordarse de mi. Mas sin embargo uno de sus primeros bajistas creo fue Freddy de El Salvador y su hermano Mauricio era bajista tambien. Solamente les quieria comentar mi asombor dever que ustedes siguen echando para adelante y les deseo lo mejor. Aca en Miami me entere que la Sra. Maria Rodriguez ya fallecio y otros musicos de mi tiempo como el bajista Don Luis Salome. Llevo desde el 96 en Miami y deje de cantar aunque sigo componiendo cosas y cosas y nunca pierdo la costumbre a mis ya 51 anos de edad.
